How to convert PowerPoint to PDF
- Choose a PPTX file under 25 MB; legacy PPT and PPS files are not supported.
- Click Convert file to extract slide text into PDF pages.
- Download and review the PDF alongside your original deck.
Text review, rather than slide reproduction
The tool reads slide text and places it on simple PDF pages, starting a new page for each slide’s text. Graphics, charts, themes, animations and the original slide layout are not reproduced.
When to use PowerPoint’s own PDF export
For a visual handout that matches your slides, export the presentation to PDF from PowerPoint or your original presentation editor. This is especially important for diagrams, charts and image-heavy decks.
Empty slides and unsupported characters
A deck with no readable slide text cannot be converted by this text-only tool. Characters unsupported by the current PDF font also produce an error. Keep the original PPTX and use the presentation editor’s PDF export for those files.
